How Can I Increase My Credit Card Rewards?
With good credit you can indeed obtain lucrative credit card rewards and rebates, but some of these rewards must be for the purchase of a new or improved credit card. There are many different rewards credit card programs available to individuals that aim to maximize the number of rewards he can obtain in a year and truly gain credit.
Among the many credit cards programs that offer reward programs, there are two main types: reward programs for those who have good credit and for those who do not.
Reward Programs for Individuals who Have Good Credit
Some credit cards provide rewards for those who have excellent credit. In this case, there is no need to shop around for the best rewards program. So, you can simply apply for a card that offers the best rewards program for the selected product that the holder hopes to use instead of your credit card.
The most widely offered of the three reward programs is the gas reward program as it offers incentives for customers to select the various gas stations that will be providing their gasoline. Every time you make a purchase at a gas station, if you are entitled to receive a rewards credit card, you earn 5 points for every dollar that you spend. A typical reward credit card program works out to be approximately equivalent to $5 in rewards. Thus, if you want to go for a more conventional mileage card like Hertz, you earn as much as 5, but the rewards are 5 points higher.
The Chase Reward Credit Card is another of those reward programs currently available. This interest-based program lets you earn points on certain items such as gas, groceries, and prescriptions. You may earn up to 5,000 points but the rewards are variable. Thus, once you have acquired 5,000 points in a year, you may earn a small credit card reward as well as a larger reward credit card.
